Why hiring is hard
- Licensing: Supplying an unlicensed officer is a criminal offence, not a paperwork slip
- Screening: BS 7858 history checks that are often only partly done

What we check
Checks marked blocking must be complete before a placement can start.
- SIA licence of the right type checked against the SIA public register (blocking)
- BS 7858 screening, including five-year employment history (blocking)
- Right to work (blocking)
- Licence expiry date recorded and checked again before each new assignment
